The event coordination was a total mess. The so-called planning team seemed confused the whole time, and it felt like nobody really knew what was going on. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for.

The lessons felt rushed, and I wish the coach had taken more time to explain things. Scheduling was also kind of messy, which made the whole experience more stressful than it needed to be. For the price, I just didn’t feel like I improved much. I can see other customers feeling the same way if they’re expecting more structure and guidance.

I don’t know, the place just didn’t feel that welcoming to me. It was loud, had kind of a cold feel to it, and everything seemed rushed like everyone was already annoyed. I was expecting something a little more fun or relaxed, but it ended up feeling more stressful than anything. The ice itself might be totally fine, but the overall atmosphere just wasn’t for me, and I wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back...

The rink was mostly clean, so I’ll give them credit for that. But the bathrooms definitely needed more attention. I always get a little suspicious when places use polished wording about being super well-maintained, because the reality was more like “fine, but could be better.” Not a bad experience overall, just needs more consistent upkeep.

I had a scheduling question and they got back to me in maybe a day or so. The answer made sense, and the person I dealt with was friendly and helped me figure out what I needed without making it a big deal.
I’m giving 4 stars because I did have to follow up once, but after that everything was handled fine. Overall, it was a good experience and I’d say they were helpful

At first I was ready to be annoyed trying to find my way around, but the layout made it really easy. Everything was simple to spot and I didn’t waste time wandering around. So yeah, no complaints from me.

It’s a nice place overall, and I didn’t have any major complaints. That said, it felt a little pricey for what you get. The value was just okay, I guess. Anyway...

I went on what was clearly a packed day, and you could quickly see the same problems popping up everywhere. Lines weren’t really marked well, people kept cutting in, and different staff members seemed to be giving different directions. After a while, it felt less like a one-off mix-up and more like they just don’t have a solid plan for handling big crowds. It got cramped and stressful, which took a lot of the fun out of it. They definitely need a better system for busy times.

The seats were decent and the view of the rink was actually clear from most spots. Always nice when you pay to watch a game and can, you know, actually see it.

I signed my kid up for a skating class it was easy overall. The site was simple enough to figure out, which I appreciated, because I do not have the patience to click around forever just to register for one class. A couple of the pages took their sweet time loading though, which was a little annoying. Like, it’s just a class signup, why are we waiting? But the confirmation email came through right away, so points for that. Overall, good experience — just wish it was a bit faster and maybe a little clearer in a few spots.

We went in thinking it would be a simple, fun day out with the kids, but it just didn’t Feel very welcoming for families. The staff seemed kind of annoyed, and the whole setup felt more stressful than Relaxing. It might be fine if you’re just going as adults, but it wasn’t a good fit for us

I went skating here recently and the rental skates were rough, at least the pair I ended up with. They felt kind of dull and a little loose, even after trying another size or two. The staff seemed nice enough, but the skates made it harder to really enjoy the time on the ice. Hopefully they update them sometime soon.

The food choices were really disappointing. I kept looking around hoping I’d find something decent, but there just wasn’t much there. It felt like I was being forced to be patient and settle for whatever was available, which got old quickly.

The hockey program just felt really unorganized. My kid was excited at first, but then practices were all over the place and it just, yeah, it didn’t really feel worth the time we put into it.

I don’t know if it’s just my location or the times I’m looking, but the schedule has been frustrating. Most of the slots I see are either already full or at times that don’t really work if you’ve got a job, kids, or just normal weekday stuff going on. I was hoping to go more regularly, but it’s hard to stay motivated when there’s almost never a decent time available.

I tried using this with my screen reader it was way harder than it should’ve been. I couldn’t find the schedules easily at all, and the whole thing feels like nobody tested it for accessibility. Whoever runs this really needs to put some actual work into making it usable for everyone.

I went to Great Park Ice last weekend, and the rink itself was totally fine. The ice was good, the place looked nice, and everything seemed organized at first (at least from the outside).
The only frustrating part was dealing with the front desk. I had a quick question about my booking and ended up getting passed between two different people. No one was outright rude, but they were kind of short with me and not very helpful (which made it feel like I was bothering them).
We still skated and tried to enjoy it, but the whole interaction put a bit of a damper on the visit. I’d probably go back, but I really hope they work on customer service because the place has a lot of potential.
